Zupermodelz and Fraser 'pants down' Island

After a good night sleep I had a call from mom this morning. Funny speaking danish again after 10 days with only english. And therefore the blogging will be in english this time translated to danish later. You readers that have been travelling alone talking english all the time will understand, others may not. Well, to go back to the latest blog:
I left Airlie Beach last sunday with 'ze tyu german Zupermodelz Janina and Anja. We did a stop in Mackay, Rockhampton and in Bundaberg on the way down and ended in Hervey Bay wednesday noon. We did the last night in River Heads where we saw the biggest group of roos I have seen yet. 30+ of them were eating at a field sharing with some cows. It was some bigger ones 1-1,5 meters. On the road we were very close to a 2 meter high roo that crossed the road right in front of us. Thursday morning I drove the girls back to Hervey to their hostel then continued to Rainbow Beach where I still am.
Met a girl at my hostel just before the briefing for Fraser Island started, asking me if I was travelling with anyone, then asking if I wanted to join her and the 5 girls she was with. SURE! So we ended being a group of 6 Irish girls, a girl from Hong Kong and two more guys - one from Germany and the last from Italy going to the Island together. Left for Fraser friday morning and returned yesterday - sunday. AND we had so much fun that I cant even tell you half of it ;-) - but short: we did little driving and a lot of partying. Mostly 'pants down' meaning dancing in our underwear with pants down the angles. And last night out there I ended the party dancing Tango with a young girl, intelligent doctor of course, in the dark of our super camp and with wild dingos running around close. Totally surreal. Then I slept on the roof of the car that night.
We had such a good time in our group and I miss them already.

Today I had my first surf lesson together with a 'tada and no surprice' german girl :-) We practiced half and hour on the beach and then 1 and a half in the surfs. So tired now but it was good. Will rent a board tomorrow and practice some more by myself. Pictures will come when I'm in Noosa later this week.

Danish translation to follow - 'morfar' time now ;-)
